When hubby gets the call, and the bad news....
he rushes right home where he finds a badly distraught Kei

With their home turned into a police scene, both hubby....
and Kei are questioned about the assault

The questioning continues down at the precinct....
where the cops are skeptical of Kei's story

The questioning quickly turns into an interrogation....
as it's evident that the cops don't believe Kei's account of the attack

After the interrogation, the vultures in the press descend on Kei and hubby....
In a secluded spot later, Kei tells hubby about the rape

A revelation he doesn't take at all well (by slapping her)....
and the couple begins to fall apart

At work, Kei is looked upon by co-workers with disdain....
but that changes, for the worst after she's fired

While hubby and son dine with the in-laws....
a despondent Kei, wandering the streets is taken in by a friend

But, in his apartment, said friend tries to abuse Kei....
however, after a few whacks from her purse, Kei manages to escape

The last resort for Kei, drowning her sorrows in a bar....
until a chance meeting with her co-worker from the store....
