During the heyday of Pink Lady, Mie and Kei covered a great many different musical genres, especially during their live shows. Everything from pop (ABBA), rock (Eagles), bubblegum (Bay City Rollers), rhythm & blues (Stevie Wonder), even country (Dolly Parton). But the one genre that suited the Ladies to perfection was Disco! Because of their high energy song and dance routines, Disco was the idea genre for Pink Lady, and they covered a great many songs from that beloved AND despised genre. Just for fun, I thought I'd list all the Disco songs Mie and Kei performed, both in live shows and on studio albums like their U.S. debut and "We Are Sexy". If you're a fan of Disco (and there NO shame in admitting that), I'm sure you'll get a kick out of this little feature! So slip on those platform shoes, start that silver ball a'twirlin' and let's get down and boogie!!!
