On the evening of July 23, 1978, Pink Lady played before perhaps the biggest crowd ever in their storied career in the now legendary "Jumping Summer Carnival" where close to 100,000 people came to watch Mie and Kei perform at Tokyo's Korakeun Stadium, said to be Japan's equivilent to Yankee Stadium here in the States. I'm fortunate enough to have the cassette from that show, and later, a video of same, and the Ladies were never better, giving their all before a monstrously large crowd of wildly adoring fans. It was a night of pure magic the likes of which no one will ever forget. To celebrate that historic event from 25 years ago this month, I've brought you and extensive pictorial of the Carnival which I hope everyone will enjoy!
